GROUND LAMB MEAT BALLS

GROUND LAMB MEAT BALLS



You can serve these meatballs as an appetizer or as a main dish with rice, French fries or potatoes.

INGREDIENTS, THERMOMIX TM31:

 

Meatballs:

  • 500 g ground lamb meat
  • 1 Onion (peeled and quartered)
  • 1 Clove of garlic (peeled)
  • a piece of red pepper
  • 30 ml oil
  • 50 g bread crumbs
  • 1/2 Cup milk
  • 1 Egg
  • Bread crumbs
  • Salt and pepper

 

Sauce:

  • 1 Clove of garlic (peeled)
  • 200 g onion (peeled and quartered)
  • 50 g carrots (peeled and small cut)
  • 30 g green pepper
  • 30 ml oil
  • 20 g flour
  • 1/2 Cup white wine
  • 1 Litre beef stock (or 1 liter of water + 1 stock cube)
  • 200 g crushed tomatoes

 

PREPARATION:

 

Meatballs:

1. Put onion, garlic and peppers into the mixing bowl, chop for 20 seconds /speed 4
2. Add oil, cook for 10 minutes / Varoma / spoon left 
3. Put meat in a bowl, space, mix, add bread crumbs, milk, and egg, mix well
4. Add mixture from the mixing bowl,  mix well, shape balls, bathe in bread crumbs, put on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
5. Bake for 15 minutes at 200 °C, turn the meatballs and bake again for 15 minutes

 

Sauce:

6. Put garlic, onion, carrots and peppers into the mixing bowl, cop for a few seconds /speed 4
7. Add oil, cook for 15 minutes / Varoma /speed spoon
8. Add flour, cook for 15 minutes / Varoma /speed spoon
9. Add wine,  cook for 15 minutes / Varoma /speed spoon 
10. Add broth and tomatoes, cook for 30 minutes o/Varoma /speed 3
11.  Cool, then puree
12. Put meatballs on plates, pour the sauce over the meatballs, then serve
