LEEK AND PEAR CREAM WITH GORGONZOLA CHEESE TM 31/5
For the first time I tried this recipe, it has become of my favorites. The best is that weather it´s cold or hot it´s delicious! It comforts you without containing unhealthy fats, it´s great for dinner, or main dish, the best is that it´s easily made in the Thermomix.
Not very sweet please
I like pear flavor but not excessively sweet, so I serve it with some gorgonzola cheese cubes, which are the perfect couple and also very original, soft and delicious.
- 300gr of leeks
- 100gr of onion
- 40gr of olive oil
- 150 gr of peeled and cut up potatoes
- 600gr of chicken broth or vegetables
- 2, or 3 peeled peeled seeds
- Salt and pepper
- A few cubes of sweet gorgonzola cheese
Put the onion and the chopped leeks in the bowl and cut and chop for 4″, speed 5, clean the remains, add oil and cook for 8 ‘, 100°C, speed 1.
Add the potato and set for 3′, 100°C, speed 1.
Add the broth and cook for 20′, 100°C, speed 1.
Add the chopped pears and salt and set for 10″, 100°C, speed 1, when cold, crush until you get a thin cream for 30″, speed 5-7-9, season with pepper, and serve with the pieces of gorgonzola cheese.
It is also exquisite with goat cheese, blue, or your favorite one, and it is great with crispy fried ham cubes, smoked salmon or hazelnuts, there are plenty of combinations to make! It´s up to you!
During winter I always have a bowl of this cream in the fridge. It is very healthy and low in calories.
