It´s great making this cream in the Thermomix
It´s more creamy without the need to add dairy, so you can include it in your diet as it is very healthy as well as delicious, write down the ingredients and give it a try!
- 150gr of onion
- 100gr of carrots
- 500gr peeled and chopped pumpkin
- 30gr olive oil
- 2 strips of tangerine skin without the white part
- A little bit of fresh grated ginger
- Salt and pepper
- 500gr of water
Cut the onion and carrots in large pieces and place in the bowl with olive oil and set for 4″ / speed 5, sauté for 8′ / 120°C, speed 2.
Add the pumpkin and chop for 6″, speed 5 and cook for 10′, 120°C, speed 2.
Add the water, tangerine peel, salt and pepper, and the grated ginger. Set for 20′, 120°C, speed 2.
When finished remove one by one the tangerine skins, let it cold and then crush by setting for 3′, speed 5-8.
This delicious cream can be served hot or cold. I like to add a teaspoon of black sesame, or crispy fried onions, a spoonful of cream cheese, or chopped and sautéed ham. All you have to do is freezing it very well, and you’ll just have to beat it again.
You can combine it with a pea cream and serve them in two-colored cups, you can even serve it with fresh stuffed pasta and you will have a perfect unique dish!
