THE PLEASURE OF MAKING HOMEBREAD
I love making bread! It is a pleasure to be able to enjoy a fresh bread at home, right at lunchtime. Today’s recipe is a quick yeast bread, so there is no excuse for not making bread!
- 300 ml water
- 250 gr. strength flour
- 250 gr. pastry flour
- 20 gr. yeast bakery
Put water and yeast in the Thermomix bowl, set for 1 minute, 37ºC, speed 1.
Add the flours and salt, set for 30 seconds, speed 6, to incorporate the flours to the wet ingredients.
Finally, set kneading function, for 2 minutes, turbo speed (kneading). Once the kneading is finished, let the dough rest in the bowl for 30 minutes.
Then put the dough on the table, punch down the dough with your fist and briefly knead out any air bubbles.
Pour flour on a baking tray, put the dough in the tray giving the shape you want, sprinkle flour over and let levar 30 minutes more, after that time, make some cuts and bake at 220ºC for 45 minutes.
The end result is a crusty, rustic bread with a super fluffy crumb.
You can customize this bread to your liking, adding spices such as oregano, cilantro, parsley, garlic, olives …, let your imagination fly to give your bread the flavor that you like the most!
