Who doesn’t like cheesecake? Everybody loves it! and this one with salted caramel is really delicious, specially for Christmas. I propose this cake that you can prepare a few days before. Your guests will be impressed!

One of the tricks is not to overcook it too much in order to make it creamy. I propose this simple Christmas themed decoration, do you dare to do it? It is very easy and while baking you can prepared the salted caramel cream to cover.


Ingredients :


  • 1kg cream cheese
  • 450gr liquid cream
  • 5 eggs
  • 300gr white sugar
  • 30gr cornstarch

Salted caramel cream

  • 150gr sugar
  • 150gr whipping cream
  • 40gr salted butter
  • Some salt flakes


Step 1

Heat the oven to 200°C and grease and line a 25cm diameter tin

Step 2

Place all the ingredients in the bowl and and set for 35″ / speed 6, pour into the bowl.

Step 3

Place in the oven for 50′ or until it’s cool and the center stays tender, turn off the oven and set aside. While the cake is baking prepare the salted caramel cream.

Step 4

Caramelize segar in a small pan, while heating the cream in another saucepan without boiling.

When the caramel is ready add the salted butter and mix well with a spatula until it is integrated, then add the cream and mix well  again, return to simmer until its consistency is creamy and homogeneous. Now add the salt flakes and pour it into an airtight jar and let it cool, then keep it in the fridge for up to three weeks

Step 5

Once the cake is cold,  cover it with cream and decorate with whipping cream and fruits, or serve the cream separately.
