Recipe -Â Thermomix TM 31
- 125 grams of butter at room temperature
- 3 large eggs Â or 4 mediumÂ eggs
- 10 grams salt
- 70 grams of sugar
- 500 grams of wheat flour
- 40 grams of baker’s yeast
- Â 180 grams of milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 30 grams of Â powdered sugar
- 5 drops of anise
Add the milk, eggs, sugar, butter and salt to the mixing bowl.Â Set it for Â 2 minutes, 37 Âº speed 3.
Add the baking yeast, mixing at speed 3 for 15 seconds.
Add the flour and mix it for 15 seconds at speed 6, and then 4 minutes, spike speed.
Let the dough rest in the bowl at least 30 mins.Â Get the dough from the bowl by removing the blades. The dough should look gummy and will be sticky and elastic. Â Place the dough on a well floured surface.
Divide the dough intoÂ several equalÂ portionsÂ and roll eachÂ portion into balls. Note:Â Make sure to constantly add flour to your hands .
Place the balls into a baking sheet, that must be previously lined with baking paper. Please make sure to leave space between the balls, so they can grow.
Brush the balls with the beaten egg, and make a slit on each ball . Mix the powdered sugar with the anise drops and use it for decoration.
Let the balls rest until it doubles its volume.
Bake at 180ÂºÂ for 10 to 15 minutes (depending on the size you make the balls).
Let them chill and then enjoy! Perfect for a breakfast!
