SPANISH OMELETTE ( With little oil )



Spanish Omelette ( With little oil )

Recipe – Thermomix TM 31

INGREDIENTS

( For one person )

– 200 grams of  peeled potatoes
– 1 liter of water
– 100 grams of  onion ( Julienne cut )
– 2 Eggs XL
– a dash of salt
– 7 grams of olive oil

PREPARATION

Put in the TM  mixing bowl,  1 liter of water and add the potatoes after cutting them into large pieces. Set it for 30 minutes at varoma temperature, turn left, speed spoon.

Once it reaches the temperature add the salt (not before because then the water takes longer to heat t, it will take about 8 to 10 minutes).

Once it is finished, we drain the potatoes in the simmering basket and let them temper.

While the potatoes are ready, please spread the oil on a griddle and slowly brown the onions . The flavor and texture are very similar to the fry ones, but the calories wont  !

Cut the potatoes into small cubes and add the onions. In a separate bowl beat the eggs and the mix it together with the potatoes and onions.  Let it temper while you heat a small non-stick frying pan, for taste you can spread a bit of olive oil in the pan. Be careful, the pan should not be too hot because the oil will burn – or the omelette will!

Pour the mixture into the pan and spread out evenly. Let the omelette  to cook around the edges. Then you can carefully lift up one side of the omelet to check if the egg has slightly “browned.” Once is slightly browned, it is time to cook the other side.

With the help of a large dinner plate quickly turn the frying pan over and the omelet will “fall” onto the plate. Then place the frying pan into the fire and slide the omelette again and let it cook until it is brown in the other side.
