SPICY LAMB CHOPS WITH POTATOES

The best thing about having free days on vacation, is to be able to enjoy cooking with your family, I love getting into the kitchen, like today, to make a delicious dish of roast beef, full of flavors.

LAMB

Lamb is one of the most eaten dishes in Christmas. Lamb meat has a large amount of protein, iron, zinc and phosphorus. It is one of the meats with the highest fat content, so its consumption should be moderate.

SPICY MEAT

  • Lamb Chops
  • Sliced ​​potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 50 ml. soy sauce
  • Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 30 ml brandy
  • 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon clove
  • 100 ml. vegetable broth

Combine in a bowl, oy sauce, teriyaki sauce, brandy the spices: parsley, turmeric, ginger, fennel seeds and cloves, stir and soak the lamb meat with this sauce. Set aside for one hour.

Put the potatoes, onions the lamb chops and garlic on a baking tray and roast at 200ºC for about 30 minutes, turn over the chops after fifteen minutes, soak with the brandy mixed with the broth, and leave for another fifteen minutes.

FLAVORS

The fennel brings an aniseed flavor to the meat, which combined with the rest of spices, it soften the powerful characteristic flavor of the lamb. In addition, the turmeric brings a lot of color to the dish, and the ginger gives a slightly spicy touch to the meat.
