Roasted Sweet Potato and Cardamom Cream
Sweet potatoes are great for desserts recipes, but it’s also great for making a delicious cream for lunch or dinner, with a touch of Cardamom that gives a perfect scent!
Although it can be made with raw sweet potato as other recipes for creams in the Thermomix, I recommend to try it with roasted sweet potato and you´ll be amazed!
Ingredients for 4 people:
- 2 Bagels (700g approx.)
- The seeds of 2 cardamom fruits
- 100gr of water
- 100gr of milk
- 30gr of butter
- Salt and pepper
- Pumpkin seeds, or chopped hazelnuts to decorate
Wash the sweet potatoes, wrap them in aluminum foil separately and roast them in the oven for one hour at 180°C. Let it cool and peel.
Put all the ingredients in the bowl with the peeled sweet potatoes and crush for 1′ / speed 5, taste and rectify salt and pepper, set for 5′ / 100°C, speed 3.
Serve hot with some pumpkin seeds or chopped nuts.
Prepare this recipe without water and with only 50gr of milk to make a mashed garnish for a meat dish, it is impressive and we´re trying a brand new dish! You can take and roast more sweet potatoes and prepare them for dessert, they are delicious!
