This nut bread is quickly prepared, because you don’t have to leave it rest. Caution: do not Preheat oven!


  • 180 ml water
  • 25 g fresh yeast
  • 320 g whole wheat flour
  • 40 g walnuts
  • 10 g fine salt
  • 20 ml of olive oil


1. Put walnuts into the mixing bowl, chop for 30 seconds / speed 5-7
2. Add water, yeast and oil, set for 2 minutes / 37 C° /speed 2
3. Add the rest of the ingredients, mix for 15 seconds /speed 3-6
4. Knead for 3 minutes
5. Take dough from out of the mixing bowl, dust with a little flour, give the desired form, place in a baking dish, cut a cross into the dough and decorate with some walnuts
6. Bake for 35 minutes at 170 C° (do not Preheat oven), cool and serve
